Header & Footer

Header and Footer settings control the public frame around every page. Use them together with Settings -> Menus and Settings -> Styles.

Open Settings -> Header to configure:

  • inline or stacked layout
  • sticky header
  • logo alignment
  • header separator
  • active menu indicator
  • built-in visitor buttons
  • custom action buttons
  • mobile behavior

Header actions

Header actions are small buttons shown near the normal header buttons. They can open:

  • a URL
  • an active modal
  • an active popover

Good examples:

  • Subscribe
  • Offers
  • Alerts
  • Contact
  • Get app

If the action should open a popover, create the popover first in Engagement -> Modals & Popups.

A saved header change can take a few seconds to appear on the public site.

Open Settings -> Footer to configure:

  • simple, standard, columns, or rich layout
  • manual link columns
  • columns that reuse existing menus
  • about text
  • footer notice
  • copyright text
  • language-specific copyright override

Footer columns are useful when the footer needs more structure than one row of links.

Good column examples:

  • Competitions
  • Teams
  • News
  • Company
  • Legal
  • Responsible gambling
  • Apps

Use menu-backed columns when those links are already maintained in Settings -> Menus. Use manual columns for footer-only links.

Create menus first

Build the Header, Footer, and Mobile menu areas in Settings -> Menus.

Configure Header

Choose the layout, sticky behavior, logo alignment, and action buttons.

Choose the layout and add columns or notices if needed.

Check colors

Use Settings -> Styles for header and footer colors.

Review mobile

Open the public site on a phone-sized screen and check that the menu and footer remain easy to use.

Practical advice

  • Keep the header short and focused.
  • Put larger link groups in the footer, not the header.
  • Use one highlighted header action when possible.
  • Keep footer column titles short.
  • Review header and footer after adding new languages.
